A Collaborative Intelligent Transportation System Endeavour
1. First National Workshop on Intelligent Transportation System was held on 25th & 26th June 2010 at Yashada Auditorium, PUNE. 2. An Indian Patent, bearing Patent No.239258, has been granted to CDAC-T and DIT for an invention "A method for synchronizing heterogenous road traffic and the system thereof" by the Patent Office, Govt. of India in accordance with the provisions of the Patent Act, 1970. The patent was granted for a period of 20 years from the 8th day August 2005. The patent application was filed by the team working on Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) in Control & Instrumentation Group, CDAC (T). 3. Second National Workshop on Intelligent Transportation System (InTranSe2011) was held on 25-27 August 2011 at IIT, Bombay, Mumbai.
